Workshop Reminder and Invitation for Camping and Soil Geek Mixer in Rangeley

The Maine Association of Professional Soil Scientists, in conjunction with the Maine Association of Wetland Scientists, the Maine Association of Site Evaluators, the Society of Soil Scientists of Northern New England, and the Maine Forest Service is pleased to announce a workshop which focuses soil and hydrology conditions unique to the western Maine Mountains, northern Maine and some coastal areas. The workshop includes a hands-on field exercise as well as a group discussion at the conclusion of the field exercise.

FALL 2010 SOILS CLASSES at the University of Maine, Orono:

 

PSE 442 - Pedology, the Science of Soil Morphology, Genesis and Classification (3 credit hours); this class will meet twice a week.

PSE 444 - Field Soil Morphology and Classification (1 credit hour); this is an all-field course and will meet once a week for half a day.
